ioS app to passcode Notes?

Hi

 

iPad Mini 3 128gb

 

After my mini working faultlessly after considerable screen breakage for a year I dropped it again and really needed a replacement.

 

I got it done very reasonably but found the finger scan wasn't working they said they had a prob please bring it in after Songkran. Home button also got stiffer in a couple of days.

Eventually I got it back to them and after a long wait was told they just couldn't fix the scan, but were very fair and said i could either take it with the new screen and a refund of the screen cost (1600) OR they'd find a replacement and THEY keep the 1600.

Both very fair options.

I said I like the finger scan but will take it as it is (battery still v good and now looks new.) 

 

I find the 6 figure passcode a real nuisance so many times a day but had the brainwave can I switch it off.....and found I could.

 

There's nothing really deadly sensitive in there but I'd rather keep my passwords in NOTES private.

 

IS there an app which I could use for passwords etc but which itself needs a code or password to open on the rare occasion I need it?

LastPass is free and easy to use across all devices.

 

Have you thought about getting your iPad fixed at an Apple authorised reseller which should use genuine Apple parts as this is why you have now got this problem.
