Prisoners in our home! Woman goes on Facebook live to say the family are trapped!

A Thai woman went on Facebook live to say that she couldn't get out of her own rented house.

They had been locked in by the owner, she said.

She apologized to her work colleagues to say she wouldn't be in to the office.

They couldn't get out the rear of the building in Taling Chan because that was a klong - and they didn't have a boat.

In total there was gran, mum and day and the kids - and they were being kept like prisoners, she claimed.

She said that she had contacted the police after the owner came in the early morning on Monday.

Netizens wondered what it was all about.

It looked like the family were preparing to move.
