Taxi driver: "If you want a decent driver try a private car - That's why I don't want Thais!"

A Thai taxi driver taken to task over his poor driving told the female passengers to try a privately owned car.

He probably meant they should try Grab or Uber.

Then he added: "That's why I don't want Thais in my cab".

The women in the cab took a video and posted their complaints on popular fan page on Facebook Mem Pho Dam.

They were on their way from Sukhumvit Soi 38 to Soi 12 on Sunday.

The driver was weaving all over the place and they complained.

They also alleged that the driver was drunk.

Police were called after the driver got abusive but no action seems to have been taken.

There are allegations of an influential person behind the scenes.

An immigrant

The typical disgusting attitude of Thai taxi drivers.

And dont' get deceived, the rotten apples in the trade,  are bad and try to cheat any customers  -  Thai or farangs.

UBER/GRAB/Skytrain-MRT (if in BKK)/vehicle hiring/chauffeur driven cars etc. have a very bright future in Thailand, thanks to the crooked taxi drivers.

as per his advice, I DO! I DO! take private limo's everywhere I go, either that or a hotel car. so much easier and no hassles, money is not  problem.

You just don't get it .    Thai cops are doing exactly what the Thai people want .  They like being able to "Pay the cop"   They like knowing that they can  break the law without worrying about punishment .    Just don't hurt one of the "Influential"  people and they can get away with almost anything .   That is how they want it .     You will never change it
