finally got hd prime tv working, computer hooked up by hdmi cable to a samsung tv

but how can i use hdprime tv to my samsung smart tv without my computer being hooked up

I think you go to google playstore, then get the HD Prime app, then you log in with your details... thats how a lot work anyway.

You can try it, until someone comes along who knows for sure.

on your tv the smart bit runs on android so download for instance chrome  go to browser download 

the prime app take it from there

No need to download the app. Even though your TV uses Android just use the browser on your smart TV and go to the HD Prime website, as you do with your computer. You get an HD Prime web page that it very similar in operation to the windows version and, in my opinion, better and easier to use than the app version.

 

I watch this way with all my android devices...... TV, Android boxes, Tablets and phones.
