Changing My Settings

I was under the impression that once you reach 500 posts that you can do more with your control panel. I would like to change my membership status under my avatar but I don't seem to be able to do this. What is the trick to do that? Thanks.

in My Control go to Personal Profile and edit profile information...the first field is custom member title.
