  • In the wrong order again ! him first when will they learn ?

  • Did it occur to you the other patients were in bed and saw nothing of the incident? All they heard were the gunshots. And who said they weren't concerned about the outcome apart from you?

You took down my reply to the vile post, but there is no need to apologise for doing the right thing.

Posters like that should be banned, not just sent t the naughty room for a few days.

Must have been a really nasty post. I have seen a few on here which I thought were bad but managed to stay. If more people got banned they might start to think before they type.

Please keep it on topic and polite, especially when it is a tragic incident under discussion.

Ban them from TaiVisa  for ever.

To me it was way out of line on at least two levels, - 1, a low gutter crude misogynist comment, and 2, a completely out of place derogatory comment  in relation to the OP.

a long long holiday - hopefully.

Artisi, you're hijacking a thread again - as you so often do.

And what's that brownish speckle I see on the end of your nose ? Need a Kleenex to remove it ?

I remember years ago in society when it was a joy to find out you were going to be a father--even if it was kept from you, now it's a reason to murder several people. How have humans gotten things so wrong?

how many are there out just packing a gun, crazy people some of them with a short fuse.

Your opinion for what it's worth, but to be honest - that's not much.

"Other patients shocked by the sound..."

But not too concerned by the outcome - just another day, another nutter blasting his girlfriend..... please carry on as normal...

what a committed comment that is.

He answered his own question with his actions.

Another amotionslly immature man-child.  Almost certainly brought up as a spoiled brat with an unrealistic view of his place in the scheme of things.  It would be interesting to know just how many of these shooters actually are the registered owners of the firearm they used. Absolute oxygen thief.  May he rot in jail for now and hell later.

Taking a gun into a hospital? The guy obviously had intentions of using it. The OP doesn't mention the length of pregnancy but I assume the unborn child died also so that now would count as 3 dead. My condolences to the family (families)

Yes TKD I had to do a bit of back tracking and thought this bloke took the gun into hospital with the sole reason to shoot the pregnant girl.  Possibly his longtime gf , he told his mates she was in the club and even more possibly a mate said " What makes you think its yours " That would be enough to do what he did , short fuse , loss of face ?.  Then just maybe , dad who was by her side told him to bugger off , that would be more than enough . " ok ok I am off and taking the gun with me "   Nope.   Just my 50 Satangs worth and I might well be way off.

What goes on in these Thai mens heads, to think that this is remotely acceptable in any circumstance.  That poor girl must of had a terrible moment of realisation when that gun came out, my thoughts go out to her family, least we can hope the father recovers, although I would not like to have to live with those memories.  I also hope the scum lives, so he can spend the rest of his life in a shit hole jail cell.

Being the GF in this country is not an easy gig.

This low IQ cretin should be deleted from the gene pool! Moments like this I hate, when the medics need to help the scum (and yes, I know they have to).

Whatever the cause/circumstances she and her father did not deserve this. Hope the father recovers (and maybe take revenge?).

Here is a summary of the Thai Rath report 7 hours ago-

All 3 lived together in the father-in-law's house but Mr Samphan disliked his son-in-law because he didn't have a steady job. This led to many arguments. Finally Mr Samphan kicked the son-in law out of his house and tried to persuade his daughter to finish with him. However, owing to the fact they had a six month old baby, the son-in-law, Mr Chaiyaporn, continued to visit his wife and child at his father-in-law's house though he didn't stay overnight like he used to before.

On the day of the appointment with the doctor, when Chaiyaporn came to the house to take his wife to the hospital, he found his father-in-law had already taken her there- to prevent the couple from meeting. This infuriated Chaiyaporn who then drove to the hospital and engaged in a heated argument with Mr Samphan. Chaiyaporn tried to persuade his wife, who was waiting in the queue, to go outside to clear up any misunderstanding, but her father tried to persuade her to stay where she was.

A serious-looking Chaiyaporn then paced up and down (the corridor?) several times before pulling out a gun from his shoulder bag and shooting his father-in-law, his wife and then himself.

Thanks for the update bannork , this changes a few things and a pity there are not more updates on events , one can get a bit cynical on similar events . ' The truth is out there '

Yes, to kill will never be a solution for any issues and its really scaring how little value the life seems to have in this part of the world among the young population who are meant to be the foundation of the future….

That does not matter!!! She still did not deserve being murdered!

Don't trivialise a horrendous crime. :post-4641-1156693976:

Unfortunately, these incidents are becoming way too common.......

becoming?  these incidents have been going on for years in thailand..... Regardless of statistics it is evident, and has been widely reported, that Thailand has a gun problem. What may make Thailand stand-out however is that so many murders we hear about – often murders are not reported in the English language media.

now you know why she didn't want to tell him.

so this report is incorrect, in that the girl wasn't pregnant, according to the Thai news channel.

she had a problem peeing from a previous birth of their baby which was 5 months old and was attending hospital with her father about that issue.

The ex boyfriend wanted to talk to her alone and the father refused to allow it as far as he was concerned they were finished.

I am only conjecturing here, however why would he want to speak to her alone armed with a pistol, other than to do what he ended up doing anyway.

A very sad end for 2 people and a very sad start to life for a baby having lost both it's mother and grandfather.

Lets hope the SOB doesn't recover from his injuries as you could shudder at the thought of him eventually influencing a child.

another gutless spinelss <deleted> of an idiot

least he didnt killed tens of school kids with automatic guns. . he was wrong to shoot the girl  and father. should have shoot himself first.

just horrible. it must have sounded like a cannon was going off inside that hospital. I can't image what kind of damage a .357 does to the small body most Thai people have. the bullet, if a magnum load was used probably just went right through 'em and lodged into a wall. fortunately no additional innocents were shot. just horrible. rip
