Freezing 3bb home wifi?

Featured Replies

I want to freeze my 3bb home internet connection for a few months, does someone have any experience with that? do they allow that or I will have to simply cancel my contract and start a new one when I'm back?

Yes, you can. I think you can do it for up to three months at a time.

Though perhaps better to use the word "suspend" rather than "freeze" when talking to them.

they do suspend their service for up to three months, but if you are in Jomtien/Pattaya avoid the office in Thepprasit as last time I went and done

all the forms, and when I returned and asked for 3BB to be reconnected they

insisted I was a week or so early (and just cancelled the arrangement and asked

me to pay the three months) they never explained this to me at that time they just kept sending me the bills that they said I owed? and I found out why a month or so later , now I only use the 3BB offices in Tesco or elsewhere

As it seems like Threpprasit have a poor attitude to customer relations, but no problems in the other offices, very helpful.

Someone else on here posted that they tried it and it was a complete shambles due

to miscommunication.

TBH, if you're happy with the service, I would leave it as is.

Two months isn't that much.

with the benefit of hindsight I agree completely , but everyone is not the same and as it can be done, I thought

I would give the members the full monty my next trip I will just pay whether I am in Thailand  or not.
