The singer, 45, responded to a tweet in which a fan compared the two artists, writing: 'Freddie Mercury - Bohemian Rhapsody. Liam Gallagher - Songbird.' Liam simply replied: 'F*** him, the goofy c***.' But even Liam's die-hard fans didn't take his words lying down, with some branding him 'ignorant' and 'self-important.' Queen will live on. Though I was not a fan of their music, I can acknowledge their popularity and contribution. Oasis? Lightweight elevator music. He is a blowhard. What he says means very little, as he is such a non factor in the world of music. He is less of a factor than Paul Simon. Less than Brittany Spears.
