LOL> he had a 50% chance of being right and they are writing about this nonsense.

Nope, he said they would all be found alive, that they would be found on Pattaya beach and that they would be found within two days.  He was right about two of those things and neither of them had a 50/50 chance.

Monk A  says they will be rescued,

Monk B says they are all going to die

Monk C says the rain will stop

Monk D says it will continue to rain

Monk E says they will be rescued next week

Monk F says they will be rescued tomorrow

and so on

Sooner or later someone will make a prediction that will turn out right.Monkeys, Typewriters,Shakespeare comes to mind..

What happened to all the monks who got it wrong, no headlines about them

Yes, The monk who Kingpower flew out to the UK to bless Leicester City football club, happened to say they would win some football trophy or other. They did, and he got his ten minutes of fame.

What's he doing now I wonder - perhaps predicting day will follow night...

I think he is a phoney and I don't think he predicted anything. I strenuously believe that a frog told him they would be rescued and now he is trying to claim the glory.

He's a bit like someone else I know.

That's old news...reddit, reddit, reddit.

If his predictions were a comfort for the families desperately waiting for the outcome, kudos to the guy.

Edit:  Making the prediction may have been easy.  Achieving a status where anyone gave a hill of beans what he predicted was the mean feat.

That's why it doesn't matter that anyone on here could have made the same prediction.  Nobody cares.
