Where's a good place in Ubon R. near the airport to leave a pick up for two days?

  Hello,

I was trying to find a way to get to Ubon on Monday, very early to catch a flight to Bkk. at 7.05. It was really difficult to figure that out that there's neither an NCA bus nor a van driving at that time. I've never thought about just leaving my car at the airport for two days, is that possible? I'll be back on Wednesday evening, leaving Monday morning.

I'd left my car at the airport many years ago without a problem, but how's the situation now? If not possible, any other places nearby would be welcome. Thanks a lot for any information.

I left my car at Ubon Airport in May for two and a half days in the pay area. Total cost was 410 baht which I thought was very reasonable. I think they charge a maximum of 150 baht/day. I wouldn't leave my car in the grass area to the right of the entrance. This area is free but is not patrolled and there mud ponds everywhere when it rains.

Thanks, that would be perfect. Would I find anybody around 5.30 am, or is there a counter inside the airport? Thanks for taking the time to respond, deeply appreciated.

Thanks a lot. I just came back from the bus station and had to find out how difficult it can be to use the "Tee see" ( 4 am) asking for relatively easy information. Then you'll get it mixed up with haa mong tchao, which is 11 am.

NCA's got a bus leaving at 5 am, which is only minutes too late. Vans start their service at 6 am, and only the Chong Mek bus would work. I've got no idea why I was never thinking of just leaving the car in Ubon, stupid me.

It's really as difficult as asking somebody how to get to the moon and leave an American flag there. Language test passed, the next test is the golden card. Thanks.
