Markets in Bangkok.

Featured Replies

I'm trying to get a pair of 'Tiger' trainers, was at Patpong and they were quoting silly prices. Any ideas where I can go where the prices are generally  better.

Looking for a few other things too, like a white belt and a casual jacket.

I'm close to the BTS so nearby a station would be good.

TIA

No idea what 'tiger' trainers are, but the biggest market in Bangkok is the Chatuchak weekend market, every saturday and sunday. If you are just interested in clothes you will find the biggest selection at Pratunam market

Onitsuka Tiger I assume?

You might get a cheap knock off pair at Chatuchak but I doubt they will be far cheaper than Patpong.

You could also try Bobae market, but do bear in mind that those trainers are not made in Thailand and so any cheap ones you find will be fake.

probably looking at 3-7000....,I always bring extra new balance with me..80% less in US.  Up there with the wine ripoffs.
