Generic Cialis Coming?

Featured Replies

The patent on Cialis expires next month, September 27 2018.  Thailand has been bound by this patent and the prices are stupidly high.  Does anyone know when and who will be selling the generic known as Tadilafil?  And yes, I know you can buy it mail order from out of country for far less but I also know that is illegal to do so in Thailand.  Thanks.

It's called Apcalis-sx 20 (containing Tadalafil) and has been sold in pharmacies FOR YEARS.

Cost:

Depending on pharmacy: Between 400 to 600 Bht per pack of 4 tablets.

- If you wear a 3-piece suit plus a tie, you are likely to be charged 600.

Cheers.

As Swissie says, I have paid 300 baht for same but generally buy a lot for passing on.

Can you buy this SX-20 mail order within Thailand?

It's a product manufactured in India. I am quite sure it can be bought via mail order. As long as you are aware that there are certainly a number of "fakes" around.
This is the reason I don't even buy the same product from any street-vendors. A Pharmacy is not likely to sell a "fake" that may put the customer in Hospital for 3 days.
As long as you live in Thailand, I would skip any mail-order hokus pokus and head for the nearest Pharmacy instead.
- Don't be shy, the Lady Pharmacist has sold this product a hundred times before to Farang-Patients. If you can't overcome your shyness, rent a Santa-Claus costume when heading for the Pharmacy. Happy shopping and HoHoHo.
