On previous visits I've always enjoyed a Beer Lao Dark, but now I can't find it anywhere-Rimping, Big C, 7/11.  What's happened to the supply?  Does anyone know a place that has it for sale take away? (Preferably not too far from town).

Some 7/11 still store it, guess it's not selling too well, coz of the price

I do not know where you are, but Makro in Hua Hin has plenty...( three days ago  ).

Makro in the Chiang Mai area carries it. Too expensive for most Thais compared to Leo and Chang.

I suspect that the beer has gone beach side here in Pattaya? ???

Check your local MAKRO - the store in Khon Kaen usually stocks Beer Lao.

Find it all around Pattaya; on menus, 7-11, Tops.

Rimping, Mae Hia have it, on and off.So presume all their stores carry it.Seems more lack of reliable,continuos supply is the problem.

 

Doubt many Thais drink it, mostly Expats & bar owners ,great drop

The Makro on Superhighway Road has lots of it.

Available from the beer shelf/chiller at Rimping Promenada today.

Thanks everyone.  It looks like, as people say, it's a bit of a supply problem at least in the inner city. 

NASA.... we have a problem. There's a kink in the beer distribution chain. Ok, abort abort!

Stand down everyone.  Found it at Rimping Nawarat yesterday, and cleaned them out.

Is Makro Mae Hia different from the store in the above post called Makro Hang Dong?  Or is it two names for the same store?

Same store,only one. Some refer to it as Mae Hia ,some Hang Dong, up to you !
