Baclofen...any experience ??

Featured Replies

Have had fibromlygia since 2001 (diagnosed then anyway but certainly longer) and 2 weeks ago they have labelled me with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/ME as well

Consultant guy has added the above drug in 5mg doses three time a day to stop the restless leg syndrome that somehow I've been lumbered with as well

It doesnt work whatsover at that dose OR is there a lead in time when taking it ??  Yes can get hold of doctor but takes 2 weeks to get an appointment at times

Do have a history of tablets having little effect which knock others flat. I can take 20 mg of diazapam without any effect as an example

The therapeutic dosage range is 5 - 20 mg three times a day so you have been started at the lowest dose. You might ask your doctor about possibly increasing it, assuming yo uare nto having any adverse effects at that dosage.

It apparently helps some people with CFS/ME but not everyone.

Note that this medication should not be abruptly stopped.
