Apparently the British people are dying for the infusion of new sports in the UK because ever since an NFL game was announced this past Friday to be played in the UK, thousands of fans in the UK have requested around 500,000 tickets already. NFL going to take over the EPL in popularity?

To be fair Redrus, I used to hate NFL, but having associated with many Americans over here for the past 7-8 yrs and getting involved in 'fantasy football' I now love it. Sure not as much as my beloved English football, but it is very entertaining once you know the rules.

Its kept me up many a Sunday night/Monday morning watching it.

I follow EPL, La Liga, Serie A, and whatever else WETV Chiang Mai will show me and I enjoy soccer quite a bit, but I was raised on MLB (Red Sox) and NFL and that's what I love. Likewise, I don't see the Brits going nuts over NFL, just want to see something novel in London for an afternoon.

BTW, if I were trying to sell the NFL overseas, I wouldn't start with a Giants-Dolphins game, that'll put 'em off their lunch!
