Makro Pattaya Sukhumvit foreigner helping handicapped dogs ? Farang on sidecar with dogs at Makro

hello,

 

have you seen this foreigner who often sits on his sidecar motorbike at Makro Pattaya Sukhumvit ?

 

Does he really helps dogs ? Any facebook page or website ? What is he asking exactly ?

 

I was in rush and he was already talking with some people, so if you know that he is genuine and that it's worth buying him a 25kg bag of food, please tell me.

I know there is a German guy in Naklua that runs a soidog organization , he is asking people to donate dog food and money .  Probably not the same guy.

There are a few in Jomtien but the general concensus of locals is they are creating more problems, the fact they are encouraging more dogs to congregate in packs, and they never do it near their own homes either.

There is a guy with several, 4 or 5 lovely dogs on a sidecar. They belong to him. Some stunning beauties and very friendly. See him once in a while at Friendship. Sad chapter the Soi-dogs, or animal 

welfare in TH in general. Very sad & says quite a bit about ......, if you think a bit about it.   MS>

I've seen & talked with the fellow moonseeker mentioned.  A well meaning guy.  I'm guessing it's the same person. I doubt he would be hanging out at the same location same time consistently every day.

He is there most Monday mornings, as am I. For the rest of the week, can't say. I think he is German, not sure, and the dogs although terribly disabled ( challenged/ crippled/ underpriveleged; pc brigade pls advise)  seem happy and friendly.

Sorry Gaff, I don't know much more other than after seeing & talking with the person(& his accompanying dogs) I met (it was along Jomtien Beach Road), I got the impression he was sincere in his efforts.  I am myself very sympathetic to homeless dogs & cats.

If he's German , he might be the guy running a soi dog rescue in Naklua .  Heres a picture of him.    And he runs a website .

Are you sure that he is the makro guy ? they do not look similar...

Anyway donations to this organization k9aid, goes to a bank account in Australia so probably more people behind this.

Yes he really does . His name is Adriano. He has a restaurant full of disabled dogs and cats, he also feeds around 150 dogs per day and helps with puppy shelter at a temple with around 100-150 pups.

Not same , Adriano is in Soi kao Noi
