Dunkin’ Donuts has opened its first drive thru in Thailand.

The new store is located at Porto Go Bang Pa-In in Ayutthaya on the main highway that connects Bangkok with the popular destination.

It features a more expansive menu than is typically found at Dunkin’ Donuts, including items such as hot sandwiches, cupcakes and 100 percent Arabian coffee.

The store also includes a co-working space.

According to Manager, the new store is the largest Dunkin’ Donuts drive thru in Asia Pacific.

im from usa and dunkin donuts is not suppossed to look like this.

the company is founded on small humble shops, minimalist with no frills, no fancy decor.

looks like they confused a starbucks with a dunkin donuts.

Well, in the US, they actually fry the donuts in the store, rather than getting deliveries once a week from their warehouse and serving up stale hunks of dough fried up in cheap oil, and left to sit in their display case for days and days.  In the US, they will be dropping donuts from the "DD" brandname, as they are going to focus on the items that this store will allegedly sell (sandwiches, burgers, bagels, etc.).

It's personal preference but the only donuts in Thailand I can digest are Krispy Kreme and it's probably because they are fried fresh in the store in another oil than their competitors.

Good idea as there are fewer parking places in the BKK area where one might park to go in and get a coffee to go or to enjoy there.. Another Idea would be for,,,,,,,,,,Hummmm,,,,No,Not for here as I will save that one for my Thai family to use..

Now the lazy lard arsed Thais will not even have to wadle  a few meter from their cars to to get even fatter

And they can scoff that crap 'till their hearts content, and when the mad Thai  driver flips the pick-up they won't notice.  There is always an up side.

But, seriously - why would you want to eat a "donut"? have some respect for yourself ?

Once in a while they are ok,  but does not mean you have to be in such a hurry to get some. Its alarming that Thailand seems to cherry pick the westerers comforts but refuse to ape other European/US/South Pacific laws on the dangers of obesity which is a major concern. I could go on but if they want to copy something why not look at the policing on the roads, copy them for fcuks sake.
