VFS passport pick up

Featured Replies

I have a passport to pick up and have sent 3 emails to [email protected] as it stipulates I must give them a time/date but have had no response. If I go to collect it will it be a waste of our time and money or is the time/date part just a formality. Thanks.

It says on the collection letter that you must email them and give an exact time and date when it will be collected.

Maybe it's just that then, you're advising them and they don't acknowledge.

Hopefully someone who has collected their passport of late will share their experience.

It is my clear understanding, based on experience that an appointment is NOT necessary to collect your new passport.

Take your expiring passport and a copy of the email you received and get yourself down there.

I did it all the way from Udon Thani.

It would appear from both fairly recent updates at the end of the blog linked below that the OP was not alone in being asked by the With-It Tower Mob to indicate a specific collection time and date. In at least the second case, though, the applicant studiously ignored this particular request and did not suffer any dire consequences as a result!

Thanks for that, knew I couldn't be the only one ?. They've still not replied so will just go without an appointment and see what happens.
