Model Aircraft flying

Featured Replies

I am trying to locate any Aeromodelling clubs and flying fields in Bangkok or nearby and would be most grateful for any information.  Thank you in anticipation!

There was a similar post some while back.   Don Mueng Flying Club,    Detchatungha, Don Mueng

You probably refer to this thread:

https://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/776673-rc-flying-fields-in-bangkok/

One member names a reference site for such information (www.rcthai.club).

But all in Thai language of course.

From that it looks like there are a dozen or so RC fields in Bangkok vicinity.

(that includes other RC like model cars)

But really painful if one can not read Thai fluently.

Thank you both Esso49 and Khun BENQ

I first went to Thung Si Kan (Google Maps "Small Airport Bangkok") about 8 years ago when there were quite a few farangs flying.  However, I went there recently and found none although there are two modelling shops, one fairly well-stocked.  It’s circa 40 years since I last flew models but I fancy starting again as quite apart from the building and flying, I miss the camaraderie.  I’m wondering therefore if there’s anyone in the Bangkok area who has similar interests?
