OS Visa Services in Meechok Plaza

Recommended Posts

OS Visa has opened a visa services branch office in Meechok Plaza. I recently used them to renew my retirement visa. I received excellent, knowledgeable, and friendly service. I had to provide the additional documentation this time and they knew exactly how to do it. Previously I had used the AssistThai Visa company and was satisfied with their service but their location was inconvenient (for me) on the south side of the city. Meechok Plaza is less than a kilometer from my house so I switched to OS Visa. Very happy with the result. Also OS Visa is cheaper than Assist Thai. For those living on the north side of the city (and who use a visa service) you might want to consider it.

Do they provide line sitters instead of the full package?

That would be defeating the object. Agents get the appointments so they can charge the big bucks.

If you are capable of doing your own paperwork then a line sitter provides the all important "ticket" at what appears to be 5 per cent of current agent rates.

I went in yesterday to ask about the cost of a marriage extension, the Thai lady (with one of those silly facemasks on indoors) insisted on seeing my passport before she would even give me a price, then quoted 10,000 thb. Assist charge 8900 thb. I would have liked to have used them as im closer to Mee Chok, but her attitude and the price, will see me using Assist again.

Locals wear face masks to stop them from spreading germs when they have colds - considerate rather than silly I’d say - and I’d assume she asked for your passport to ascertain your nationality, and maybe your visa history. You sound like you started off with a negative attitude.

Not at all, I was hoping to save money. But tell your wife/gf thanks for her time Mark1066.

I am a client of this agency and use the Meechok Office.  The individual to whom you refer is quite knowledgeable with the regulations.  And, I have always considered her kind, polite, and efficient in transacting my account.
