Nowadays artists get rich from touring (concerts), merchandise, paid downloads, commercials on their youtube channel, etc.

I dont buy any music; my favorite artists upload their whole performances and hits to their youtube channels where i watch them. They only get ad income from that.

You can extract the music from you tube videos ...converted to high quality MP3 format.

I don't pay anything. Download from Youtube, convert whatever it is to MP3, save on a USB stick. Simple.

They make a lot of money from touring and digital downloads. Streaming is huge now and they make money from that also, though not as much.
