Grab Taxi Price Rise?

My stepson tells me that the prices for Grab have recently risen alarmingly.  Anyone else seeing this?

Risen dramatically, not that I have experienced. The only time I see a rise in fares is at peak hours in the a.m. and p.m. hours and during heavy rains. I take Grab on average three times a week.

Since they now have a complete monopoly over the city, after buying out Uber, and only two bus routes in the entire city then I expect there will be even more price hikes.

Do the red songtaews not work as replacements for buses?
