ABBA‘s Björn Ulvaeus has suggested the band could release a new album following recent recording sessions.

 

The Swedish pop group released eight studio albums over their original 10 years together. They haven’t released a new record since 1981’s ‘The Visitors‘.

Speaking to the Evening Standard, Ulvaeus said the band’s time in the studio this year could lead to “a new album, possibly.”

 

“Or four songs or something like that – that’s possible,” he continued, before repeating his insistence the band would not tour. “But for us to perform on stage that’s just not going to happen. That’s a definite.”
