Blood work

Featured Replies

Greetings,

I need to obtain some basic lab tests done on my blood to monitor my diabetes. Hospitals want me to meet with their doctor that I don't need. Are there any labs that I can get the blood pulled and test results ran in Chiang Mai?

Thank you.

How much do they charge for a standard blood test?

I go to McCormick Hospital around once a month to have my coumadin levels checked via blood work which usually takes around 1 hour from having my blood drawn to getting the test results. When I initially check in I am usually asked if I want to see the Dr and I say no.  The cost to have my blood tested is 250 baht.

CBC is closer to 150 here.  Emailed results in an hour.  Used to be near the SE corner of the moat, but they moved about one KM away.  McCormick is fine if in that area, but traffic sux around there.

The Red Cross does basic blood work.  They're located on the west side of the river, just north of Warorot Market.
