Machine shop

Featured Replies

Looking for a machine shop to do some threading of stainless rod.  Other work in the future but for now just to find one that is equipped and capable.

Thanks

I have used a shop outside the moat almost opposite Chiang Mai market. I supplied my own drawings and the project turned out well. I told a friend who wanted to mount a telescope on a camera tripod which required some threading, he was also happy.

If you have a lot to do in the future, you can invest in your own tap+die set if your quotes are unacceptable.

I know this area but don't know where a pharmacy is.  Could you show a store front for me or an address.

Thanks for the response and if they can do a little work for me that would be super.

Here's a link to a street-view shot. The pharmacy is on the left, and the machine shop has the white and blue sign which says (in Thai) "Pongsathorn Lathe."  It's on the same side as the rail station just at a zebra pedestrian crossing. Good luck!
