Novotel ibis Styles Bangkok Sukhumvit 4

 

Novotel ibis Styles Bangkok Sukhumvit 4 is a brand new hotel that recently opened in the bustling Sukhumvit Soi 4 or Nana area in Bangkok. It is a new brainchild of The Erawan Group and AccorHotels, aiming to bring a new and happening lifestyle space that can suit the needs of all travelers.

Novotel ibis Styles Bangkok Sukhumvit 4 is located in central Sukhumvit, a place well known for its busy business district in the day, whilst at night it turns into a nightlife hub for the people of Bangkok who love to party. It is one of the liveliest districts in Bangkok, having a reputation of being a “24-hour” central. Here you can find plenty of accommodation options for all your needs, be it leisure travel or a business trip. On the 1st October 2018, Novotel ibis Styles Bangkok Sukhumvit 4 was officially opened to welcome their first guests.

The hotel is conveniently situated in Soi Sukhumvit 4, 350 meters from the main street, along with a central intersection in Nana area, next to the Phloem Chit expressway which gives access to both Suvarnabhumi International Airport and Don Mueang International Airport. Apart from it’s proximity to the expressway, public transport is also readily available around the hotel. BTS station “Nana” is only a short 5-10 minutes walk (400m) away. The hotel also provides a free shuttle bus service to Nana station in every 30 minute from 8.00 am. until 4.00 pm. on weekday and until 7.30 pm. on weekend.

 

Convenience is the name of the game for Novotel ibis Styles Bangkok Sukhumvit 4, as it boosts other available facilities around it such as convenient stores, multiple dining options, shop houses and a famous Hospital: Bumrungrad International Hospital.

The hotel is a combination of two international hotel brands under AccorHotels: Ibis Styles and Novotel. Ibis Styles is the Ibis family most successful and favourite hotel brand. Novotel, is one of the world biggest mid-scale hotel chains under AccorHotels. Guests staying in either of these hotels will have access to all the same facilities within Novotel ibis Styles Bangkok Sukhumvit 4, with the exception of having separate hotel lobbies.

Ibis Styles is located on the lower half of the hotel building, and it has standard facilities and amenities for its guests, with a relaxed and informal theme running throughout the hotel. Colourfully decorated, Ibis Styles was designed with Bangkok Local Lifestyle as its inspiration (think mismatched furniture, Bangkok city skyline vector on the ceiling as art, and casual vibes all around). In the centre of the lobby features a massive colourful cartoon artwork of Old town Bangkok, encouraging guests to explore the many sides that Bangkok has to offer.

 

Apart from quirky and interesting artwork that can be found in different parts of the lobby, there are also has facilities like 24 hours Internet for its guests and resting areas throughout the hall.

Ibis Styles has a total of 133 rooms, with 2 types of rooms: Standard Rooms and Superior Corner rooms.

 

Standard Rooms will feature 21 m², with two bed options: a king size bed or 2 single beds. The rooms are well equipped with colourful furniture, lights and designs to ensure that guests have a comfortable and fun stay. Personal touches in the room that reflect Bangkok’s culture can be seen in their “Pha Kao Mha” (Thai traditional fabric) curtains, “chicken cage” inspired lampshades and a Thai quote in every room that loosely translates to “Lovely, Favourite ”.  Other furniture in the room includes 42-Inch Television, Safety Box, Hairdryer, Bathroom Amenities and an open concept wardrobe. Ibis Styles rooms also feature built-in international plug sockets for the convenience of their guests.

The Superior corner room features 26 m² of living space, with a single king-sized bed. The room features all the same amenities and furniture of the Standard rooms, but with an additional lounge sofa, a coffee table and a small work table.

The Novotel Lobby is decorated with sleek minimalistic modern hints, the feature a mainly black and white colour scheme. The central art piece in the Novotel Lobby is known as "Glimpses of Mahanakha", which captures the movement of the “scales” of the mythical Thai holy creature known as the Mahanakha (it looks like a dragon), as it swims in the river.

The Novotel rooms are located on the upper floors of the hotel, and there are 185 rooms, with 3 room types: Deluxe Room, Grand Deluxe Room and Grand Deluxe Bathtub Room. 

 

The Deluxe Rooms feature 28 m² of living area, with the option of either a king size bed or 2 single beds. The Rooms have a greyish, blue colour scheme running throughout. The rooms have a more open feeling to them due to the larger windows that let in more daylight. Modelled after Novotel’s signature concept rooms, also known as “N’Room”, the rooms seek to give guests a soft mood to ensure a relaxing stay.

Facilities in the room include a 49-inch smart Television, Safety Box, Full Working Desk, Ironing board, a Day Bed, Rain shower with organic bathroom amenities from "Fairtrade", and universal socket with USB port for the convenience of the guest. Other amenities include a minibar and coffee & tea.

The beds are a new design, which set to be new Novotel standard, named: "Live N Dream". The concept of the bed aims to give guests a comfortable rest, be it day or night. With the bed comes with their “Smart Pillow” that is designed a multipurpose pillow that serves as a backrest in the day and a comfortable sleeping pillow at night. 

 

The highlight of this room is the view. Whether it be night or day, the Novotel rooms boost beautiful Bangkok city views.

The Grand Deluxe Rooms feature 32 m² worth of living space. Featuring the same facilities and amenities as the Deluxe Rooms, the difference here is that the bathroom features a sliding window that opens into the bedroom. This room is the right size for travelers with extra baggage as it provides more storage and living space. It also features the same beautiful Bangkok city views.

The Grand Deluxe Bathtub Rooms, feature 35 m² worth of living space. This is the biggest size room in the Hotel, and atop the same facilities and amenities as the Deluxe Rooms, this room has a bathtub in it for guests to enjoy a leisure soak during their stay. The room also has a wide view window that boosts Beautiful Bangkok city sights.

Novotel ibis Styles Bangkok Sukhumvit 4 also has facilities like a fitness room, located on the 7th floor. Apart from the regular gym equipment like treadmill, free weights etc., the fitness room also has big open space garden where the guests can experience a stunning view of Bangkok skyline or enjoy a Yoga session with the free yoga mats provided by the hotel.

The swimming pool of Novotel ibis Styles Bangkok Sukhumvit 4 locates on the top of the building, right on the 25h floor. It features a 270 degrees birds’ eye view of Bangkok’s skyline.

Next to the pool, is the hotel’s rooftop bar: RedSquare, a simple pool bar in the day that transforms into a happening bar in the evening. RedSquare is the first Vodka bar in Bangkok, featuring Vodka from all parts of the world. It is the perfect place to enjoy a magical moment of the sunset over Bangkok skyscrapers. Another dining option for guests of Novotel ibis Styles Bangkok Sukhumvit 4 is Food Exchange. It is a signature restaurant of Novotel’s hotels. Featuring All Day Dining, the Food Exchange is the hotel’s main restaurant that provides both international buffets and á la carte food choices.
