Senate Republicans, including McConnell, have come out supporting the Muller investigation. Pretty sure they have polled this issue and see that stopping it would result in a bloodbath in 2020 at the polls for the GOP.

Trump spoke for ten minutes and said only three things.

 

Later on in the clip, Trump is asked if he expects Whitaker to rein in the Mueller probe, to which trump responds by insulting the reporter.

Pretty good. I dont think Mueller has anything other than a Ace high nothing on Trump. Russian interference in the election is not beyond dispute.  Numerous Trump campaign officials and/or appointees were indicted or resigned due to lying about contacts with Russia.  Suspicions of collusion are reasonable.  Whether it happened will come out when (if) the Mueller report is published.

What final review? The investigation isn't closed yet.

And what does that say about Trump that he's insulting a patriot? Oh right, it's all part of the plan to keep deep state off guard. And it's a good thing that this plan hasn't leaked onto the internet or we'd all be doomed.
