Went both nights - great music! I was surprised there were so few people for such a high caliber event.

It was a better turn out from last yrs rain out , it will build each yr if they have it every yr!

Did you see all eight bands over the two nights? If so,for the folks who did not go or were not there for both nights, give us a quick review on each group and the overall feeling at the fest?

Great videos , check them out !

Highlights for me were Victor Brox, his daughter Kyla and Rich Harper - oh and the keyboard guy from Cannonball.

All the bands were extremely good but it took these four to get people of their seats.

The atmosphere was good but lacking in numbers. Food and drink were plentiful but a bit pricey.

I hope next year they put out better advertising as this deserves alot of support.

For me the friday night was better apart from (as said) Keith from Cannonball whose a great artist.

Blues Machine on the friday IMO were the most exciting band who would have raised the roof if last on the saturday.

Victor Brox was great and a nice guy to chat with also, his daughter Kyla had a great voice. :o

I don't think the food and drink were that badly priced considering the venue. Beer was cheaper than many bars in Patong.

Agree entirely about the lack of marketing but that's true of many events all over Thailand, unfortunately.

I hope that they hold the event again next year and it would be good to see a black face amongst the performers next time.

Nope - went both nights. Friday was when Victor Brox played. Blues Machine were good as was Soi Dog blues band - got home at 2 am and did it all over again the next night so it was a bit of blur.

There was a third night at the Saxophone Bar on Sunday but as I say I was knackered so didn't go.
