Opting for just two named drivers and having a car cam will reduce your premium ... if you go to the Motor Show, end of this month, some insurers will be there ...

My new insurance company saved me 50 per cent on my insurance from my previous company who I was with for 7 years.

I get a gift voucher if I refer you, so if you are cool with that, then PM me please and I will pass on your contact details. Thanks.

I would like to refer you, in order to get the voucher, Did you not read that? If I don't refer you and you decide to buy, I don't get the voucher. Hope that clears it up somewhat.

My 1st class insurance is coming up for renewal soon.

7 year old Honda Jazz with 35,000 km.

Viriya is looking for 12,000 THB.

Does that sound reasonable to you?  Seems high to me since we've only made a few small claims over the years.

Perhaps I should look into dropping down to 2+1?

I've just had my renewal for a 4 year old Ford Fiesta 12,000 baht with CMI. So maybe 12,000 OK ! Can you still get 1st class on a 7 year old car?

You may find filling in the online form in English interesting at Roojai.com...Loads of options with final quotes..The total loss figures were also better for me with this site..

High I would say.  My renewal came through last week on my 2 year old Vios, fully comp, one driver, 7,500 Bhat.

My renewal quote with Virirah went up by 800 baht - & I've never made a claim. :w00t:

Named drivers reduce the price a fair bit as does having a small excess.

It's a good site to play about with to see different options.
