Roojai Online Car Insurance

Featured Replies

My comprehensive type 1 car insurance has been with Direct Asia (an online company) for the past few years and I have no complaints about the price, and the one small fender bender claim a few years ago was handled quickly and proficiently. However, Direct Asia do not insure any driver over 70 and that’s a problem as I am going to be there (hopefully) in a wee while.

I read something about Roojai Online on this forum a few weeks ago and there were a few good comments so I filled out their online quote the other day and got a good quote so filled out a little more for them to contact me. No contact, so have called them three times this week but nobody spoke any English but I did manage twice In my basic Thai to arrange a call back by an English speaker but that has not happened.

My question is simple, does anyone have insurance with this outfit and/or recommend them or should I just give up ?

I am 73 and with Bangkok Insurance. I get a good reduction for just two drivers and more for having a car cam. If you can see and still remember which pedal does what PM me and I'll give you the contact information of the person we use ....

I'm surprised about the lack of English as some representative of theirs posted on here several times in very good English.

A quick update on the Ford Ranger 2.2 4x4 Wildtrack insurance conundrum.

Roojai finally called and we sorted out Type 1 insurance cover very quickly, at a premium that was significantly less than any other quote.

Anyway, I have taken out insurance and am using their app - via which you can contact them and also give them your exact location and they also conducted an online video inspection of the vehicle via the app.

Pretty impressive app (downloaded from the App Store) and and hopefully will save me a bunch of hassle if I have an accident.

Finally, Roojai say they have a 70 year old limit but insurance after that is still possible, judged on a case by case basis.
