Photo: Eakkapop Thongtub PHUKET: Police are searching for four suspects who robbed a 19-year-old Australian tourist at gunpoint after he was dumped by the side of a dark road in Phuket by a taxi driver. Police are also looking for the taxi driver, confirmed Lt Col Kittipoom Tinthalang of the Thalang Police. The tourist was identified as Terrance John White, of Innisfail, Queensland. A few holes in this story and I suspect a gofundme page, an insurance claim to fund the trip, a police report to cover an overstay or a young clueless idiot who has somehow lost his phone and money etc and making up a story to cover it. No shirt at the police station says it all If you are going to make up a story maybe check if tourists getting robbed at gunpoint is actually a thing that has ever happened.
