Military bus runs over and kills eight year boy in Khon Kaen

Sanook reported that a military bus transporting students to an army facility in Khon Kaen ran over a child in Na Muang Road, Muang district of the north eastern Thai town.

The mother Wipha, 34, was reported to have tried to pull her eight year old boy out of the way of the bus coming up behind after. But she was not in time.

Mother and son had been riding on a motorcycle after a school pick-up Tuesday. The motorcycle had crashed.

The P3 boy who was not named was taken to Khon Kaen Hospital but later died.

Sanook said that the military had taken full responsibility for the accident.

If anyone else has seen the video the mum was at fault. She crashed in to the back of a car that was indicating and slowly turning left, which propelled her son under the side of the bus. Another pointless and easily avoided road death.

No need for trained accident investigators. Blame can be determined by merely watching the video. Amazing.
