Tourist Arrested in Fatal Jet Ski Incident at Phuket Beach
I watched the video and it looks like the guy on the jet ski was trying to maneuver to avoid the swimmer. They changed him with wrongful death of another person. I read some of the comments here and it’s always the same nonsense of faulting the Thai people. Well no Thai person was involved in the accident so blame the cops for jumping to conclusions. If a Thai person was involved in the accident then you would blame them and their so called lack of education. The cops here did their job, traced the culprit and nabbed him. -

Phuket to Host Thailand's First Legal Same-Sex Weddings in January
File photo for reference only Phuket is set to make history on January 22, 2025, by hosting an event to celebrate the first legal same-sex marriages in Thailand. This landmark occasion will take place at the Jungceylon shopping mall in Patong, symbolizing equality and love across the country. The event, called "DOPA Day One: Equality Rings in 878 Districts," promotes inclusivity in civil services under the theme "Embracing Equality: Love Wins in 878 Districts." Phuket's Kathu district has been selected as a pilot area for this initiative. This historic change follows the Civil and Commercial Code Amendment Act (No. 24) 2024, published on September 24, and set to be enacted on January 22, 2025. The event will begin with a pre-opening ceremony from 8am to 10am and an official ceremony from 10am to 11am, featuring symbolic on-stage marriage registrations for same-sex couples. Press activities are scheduled from 11am to 11:30am. Couples wishing to participate can register between January 6 and 15 by contacting the Phuket Provincial Registration Office or Kathu District Office via their official Facebook pages. Manchester Airport Incident
After many weeks Greater Manchester Police and the CPS have charged two Asian men with assault following a well reported incident in July at Manchester Airport in which a female Police officer suffered a vicious assault resulting in a broken nose....no police officer is being charged with any criminal offence relating to their actions in response to apprending the individuals.... -

Thailand's Credit Card Industry Faces Toughest Test in 20 Years
It seems to me too many people have huge credit card debt with huge interest rates. Restricting credit card companies is good, not bad.
