Yes, I think that's what is actually required. But it's such a redundant exercise. I mean if one has a one-year Retirement or marriage extension and a one year lease (or longer) with a Thai landlord, and the dates of both beginning and ending of the lease are indicated on the TM30, it shouldn't matter how many times we aren't home. What if I went to Chiang Mai or Issan for a few nights. Supposedly, since I'm not in the rented accommodation, that should be documented too.. Weird system. China-like. -

Cooking oil
Yeah if you're using one spoon of oil it's unlikely that it makes that much difference, but if you're eating street food it makes a huge difference as they use massive amounts of oil, and if it's being cooked by a Thai, t's almost guaranteed that a lot of oil is being used, so the quality of oil is always relevant. Rice bran oil rules! -

Shocking but rare, having said that the behaviour of concerts crowds has generally declined over the past decade or so. Morlam concert audiences are usually better behaved. This being a private event is all the more surprising. In Dec saw Ung Ing morlam band very relaxed and enjoyable, next night Lamyai concert which was horrible, we even left before the end. Pushing, bad attitudes, standing in front of people phones in your face, will see what it's like at another of hers on the 29th. Mobiles have made concert going less enjoyable, in the old days hardly any even had cameras. -

Extension OA Retirement based on income
Chonburi, at Jomtien That sounds fine, my initial plan was to travel around the next few years so don't *need* to have one for here, would have been a nice convenience if I could but not a big deal. I'll open a bank account and start the deposits this month, Thank you
