does anybody know of an open MRI machine/scanner  , for a claustrophobic/ anxious  old bloke, maybe in Bangkok or surrounds.

Some years ago I needed an MRI, but my shoulders were too big for the machine at Bangkok Phuket Hospital. My specialist wanted me to go to their hospital in Bangkok because they had an open sided machine.

Presumably it's still there.

Also is doctor aware of your fear?  Perhaps CT scan would be an option?
