Motorcyclist in Khon Kaen passing off fake 1000 baht notes

Police in Khon Kaen are investigating after a motorcyclist conned two female shopkeepers within minutes of each other in the same village. 

 

First Khreuaphan, 58, gave change to a man buying 100 baht worth of goods with a 1,000 baht note. 

 

He was wearing a full face helmet. 

 

Only when she checked after did she find the note was a fake. 

 

Soon after a woman called Wasana fell for the same trick to the same person. 

 

He was riding a black Yamaha Mio but unfortunately the CCTV had not been working for a year. 

 

The crimes occurred in the Ubonrat dam area of the north eastern Thai province.

 

Police are on the case, reported Sanook, after a post was made on Facebook.
