Scary that something so relatively low-tech can shutdown an international airport.

Over the next few weeks we'll see a couple of snowflakes shut down the whole country.

At least if they do get their hands on the idiots it won't be 500 baht and a Wai with a promise not to do it again.

This will never happen in Thailand. MIB is so much better.

Find the offenders then drain their bank accounts, and their families bank accounts.  If they own property, sell it off to pay for at least some of the money and time lost to all the people affected. If these drones are large sized, they are not cheap. Find the organization who built these drones, and the operators should be found. Where is the CCCV camera coverage on these drones by the way..

Geezer

in cars changing location.  I bet drones could find them moving around.

Seems things are getting back on track again at Gatwick but will be Monday at least before all the backlogs are cleared.

So the motive is mischief?

It is interesting because this could easily be used as a tactic for absenteeism. And important meeting or senate vote across the globe, a person not in attendence could change everything.

Good , hope a year or two in prison to deter others that think this is fun.

And the latest

Some of the drones spotted at Gatwick Airport could have been police drones looking for other drones, Police Sussex say.

I guess the Sussex police chief will now ground the police drone(s) until the blue strobe light is fitted.
