An unidentified man was crushed and mutilated by a train in Nakhon Ratchasima's Muang district on Wednesday in what is believed to be suicide, police said.

A rescue foundation was dispatched to collect body parts of the man from the railway between Khok Kruad and Kudjik stations.

The man appeared to be over 50 and had no identification documents.

The train driver, Wutthipong Pajonrungruangkit, told police that he was driving the train from Ubon Ratchathani to Bangkok when he spotted the man standing on the railway track.

Wutthipong said he blared the horn and applied the brake but the man did not move.

Police checked with residents and no one knew the man. The body was sent to Nakhon Ratchasima Hospital pending contact by relatives.

If it was suicide he was selfish not thinking of the poor bu**ers who had to clear up the mess

what a way to go uggg poor guy

RIP man - very sad, but why publish such a distressing photo? It clearly shows a piece of flesh lying on one of the concrete sleepers near the body (being pointed at). No respect at all.
