Affordable wedding venue recommendations?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I'm going to be getting married in Bangkok this coming November. We will have probably around 250-300 people, so we will need a largish space.

Does anyone have any venue recommendations that would cost less than 250K with food/buffet?

Appreciate any recommendations; it's been a bit difficult to find a space thus far.

Other than looking on google I can't recommend anywhere in Bkk, but more affordable places would probably be in Pattaya, which is close enough for Bkk residents to go for the day, and for those that need an hotel, way cheaper.

Are her parents paying the 250 k or is that down to you?

I hope that you do know it's not actually necessary to have a big party, or pay the sin sod to buy her from her parents.

Good luck.

The actual marriage costs 20 baht in the Amphur, I think. Outside most Amphurs there is a large parking lot. Spread the word among the local streetvood and drink vendors that there will be a large, hungry and thirsty group ov people congregating in that particular parking lot. Should not set you back more than 20,000 baht, all-in.

That's the way I dealt with it, anyway.
