Cannot upload new driving licence to phone app

I tried to upload my driving licence to my phone and was told I needed the new licence with the QR code on it.

 

Off I went to the local driving centre up here in Kalasin and got a shiny new 5-year licence with the QR logo on it and paid the 560 baht fee.

 

Incidentally, this is the first time I have been asked for a pink ID card and yellow book as well by the driving test centre.

 

Anyway, I tried last night and today and it will not upload to the special app for DLT on my phone and I have messed with it for over an hour. It does not seem to be working here. Has anybody else successfully uploaded their driving licence to the DLT app?

Who cares, just keep you're drivers license in you're wallet.  ????

When you open the app, It justs opens up the camera to take a photo of the QR code but then will not recognize the code or accept it.

I know what you mean but I am truly OCD and once I get started it sends me nuts until I solve something.

Does your phone recognise any other QR codes?

I seem to recall an article somewhere that the uploading option was only available to Thais at present. I assume it can differentiate between ID card and passport numbers.

 

Its only been a few days- give it a chance.
