"Ya Dong" seller beats drunk customer to death for kicking his four year old

Poh Teck Tung rescue foundation who were called to a "Ya Dong" (herbal liquor) stall in Bangkok found a 39 year old Surin man had been beaten to death. 

 

Narong Mumthong, a messenger, had been killed by Noppaporn Phosri, 30, from Kamphaengphet who is the owner of the stall in Ram Inthra Soi 8 in Bang Khen district. 

 

He gave himself up to police and told them that Narong had been drinking Ya Dong since early evening. He was drunk and kicked Noppaporn's four year old daughter in the butt causing her to cry as the little girl played and ran around the stall.

 

Furious about this Noppaporn confronted Narong and a fist fight ensued that resulted in the drunk man being knocked down. Still unable to contain his anger he kicked the victim until he was still.

 

He called Poh Teck Tung who declared him dead when they arrived at the scene. 

 

Noppaporn has been charged with assault resulting in death.

Should at least get a life sentence, that's for sure.

He might have stopped before he killed the guy but I have sympathy for the circumstances. Kicking a man's 4 year old child is asking for a good beating. Sometimes the red mist just takes over.

I always wonder at some parents who say they would do this or that if someone harmed their child, do they stop to think of the consequences of their revenge ?

They don't anger takes hold. It's very easy to sit at a computer and point out he made a terrible mistake but in the moment you're talking about some extremely powerful urges to protect your offspring. He made a serious mistake and he and his child will suffer the consequences. It's unfortunate the victim put the man in this position to begin with.

Until you actually witnness for yourself some drunk kicking your 4 yr old daughter, then its hard to say how you would react,once the fight starts then its every man for himself..

He is some sort of bar owner and keeps a 4 year old in that environment late at night? 

 

The drunk did wrong, but he was that, drunk and probably messing about. 

 

You give him a few slaps, fair enough, kicking him on the ground in the head when he is out cold is dispicable behaviour.

The drunks dead, the murderer might get life or a very long sentence... I have sympathy for the daughter

When I was about 11, I was threatened with assault by an adult. I told my older brother and we went out to find the guy who did it. When my brother found him, he grabbed him by the throat, pushed him against a wall and angrily told him if he ever did it again he'd get a hiding. The adult apologised and looked really scared. My eldest brother was always very protective of me, but even as a 20-year-old, he knew that beating this guy up in front of me would be a terrible example to set. 

 

Violence begets violence. If I'd seen my brother give this guy a beating, that would most definitely have affected me. Seeing my brother get very angry, but still keeping his composure, taught me a valuable lesson. Kicking a man to death in front of your four-year-old kid goes way past the red mist or anger taking hold. It's purely psychotic and deplorable.

I never said he made a terrible mistake and I agree he was unfortunately put in this position

 

I am a parent myself and can't honestly say how I would react, I hope I never have to find out.

Like i said, you have to be witness to what happened, no good getting the shudders,
Should of done this, should of done that.you can try and put yourself in that scenario but unless you saw sombody put his foot up the arse of your 4 year old cherub and lifted her off her feet, then you would be more that expected to Administer a severe thrashing...

Jeez, kick a 4-year old in front of her dad then expect a beating. Now, if the beating is going to be within an inch of your life or end it is a toss-up. If you don't like the odds then don't go there. And you don't get to plead drunk if you were able to accurately land a kick on a tot's bottom.

 

The protective dad gets a rap on the wrist for negligent manslaughter and no time because his kid (obviously) needs him. The dead guy goes into the next life having learned an excellent lesson. Hopefully, he'll be reborn a good man.

He just killed a guy in a fight.

Maybe he's lying. I wouldn't believe a single thing a killer says.

But then again maybe that's exactly what happened.

Why? I don't know about killing the a***ole who kicked his son, but if anyone ever kicked my baby, I would sure as hell kick the chit out of him. ( if I could )

If he threatened to come back with a gun and shoot you and your daughter as he was getting up, then i can see that situation ending in the way it did.Ever see a programme called one punch kilkers?do you this for one minute that they have meant to kill that person with one punch?.
