Trump had both houses yet still couldn't get anything passed, stop blaming democrats for republicans voting against Trump.

  • They don't need to second-guess.  Trump himself said:   "I could do the wall over a longer period of time. I didn't need to do this," Trump told reporters gathered in the White House Rose Ga

Could you imagine what would have happened if G.W. Bush got on Air Force One and flew to Florida to ply golf after he declare the emergency on 9-11?  What a joke and abuse of power.

Provide a link to back up that statement.

It's all a record in the public domain...look it up yourself!

The Democrat Party voted to build the wall when they had control of the country, but now it's a bad idea?

Trump was elected by promising a wall that Mexico would pay for.  Let's hold off on construction until Mexico makes its first payment.  Trump claims to be a great negotiator, here's his chance to prove it--negotiate a Mexican payment plan.

Regarding your final sentence, I assume you were referring to this:

"Mittelstadt noted that the political context is also vastly different, as some Democrats ceded to the Secure Fence Act as a political compromise to a Republican plan to criminalize all unauthorized immigrants, and to make it a crime to assist unauthorized immigrants."

"“The Secure Fence Act was written in a way to get support from both sides,” Alden told us via email. “The Democrats, by and large, supported the use of ‘tactical’ fencing in high-traffic areas, something that the Border Patrol had long favored. Trump’s wall proposal seems to call for fencing the entire border, which Democrats have never supported.”"   https://www.factcheck.org/2017/04/democrats-support-border-wall/

I've got some exciting news for you. In 2018 Federal elections were held. The Republicans including Trump made immigration their lead issue. They got quite a spanking.

Not even the latest Fox News Poll shows the electorate favoring Trump and the Republicans on this issue.

Okay...another reality check!

3 million voters LESS agreed with him, then with HRC!

Your dumb voting- laws prevent the popular votes- winner to be president!

To your point regarding the Democrats blocking everything: does the name Merrick Garland ring a bell? And that would be only one example of maaaaaaany, where the REP's blocked the Obama administration, every step of the way!

Even IF the 'Murican people would be FOR the wall (which they are overwhelmingly not!): I guess, they were for it under largely different terms!

Just one example: MEXICO WILL PAY FOR IT!
