Hi.

 

This is primarily a shout for help to anyone who has knowledge of or works in the Thailand University industry.

 

Can you tell me if there is a national (or otherwise) student organisation in Thailand?

 

In the UK we have the Student Union which looks after student welfare, organises societies in the campuses, negotiate concessions for SU card holders etc etc.... They even have their own bar/restaurants serving cheap subsidised stuff.

 

I have looked all over the internet and am unable to find any info using English text, maybe if there is something it is restricted to Thai text. I don't know.

 

Does anything similar exist here?... Do you have any details??

LOL, be silent and conform is the way they do it here.

 

Also alcohol is completely banned, there's special laws for this to stop students and everyone else drinking near universities.

I know all that, but THAT wasn't my question was it.
