orang37 Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 I bought this, second-hand, a few month ago, and it stopped working after a few uses; I think something burned-out. It's a Chinese make, no brand-name, no manual, but solidly built. My guess is it's not repairable ... or, if repairable would cost more than its worth, and I'vr already got a replacement. I used to be electrically/electronically competent in terms of small appliance repair, but, I'd guess this beast has some parts that would have to be replaced that are not common. Any ideas ? If you are in the Chiang Mai area, and want this for parts (free), PM me. thanks, ~o:37;
bankruatsteve Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 I have always been skeptical as to effectiveness of ultrasonic "filter" but whatever. How do you know it's defective? Power source OK?

But, AFAIK, ultrasonic cleaning cannot remove suspicions from an uninformed mind ???? Nothing happens when I turn it on, now; no visible fuse. thanks, `~o:37;

Just put something in it, even something you consider as being "clean" and be surprised about the "clouds" of dirt coming off. Arjen. I admit I had a brain fart. I was thinking of the UV thingy. 1 1
