OK I just googled my "real" name and got 1,430,000 hits.

Page 1 has a namesake as a 9/11 victim

Googlr for an image, now that might be interesting. If it is I'll report back!

I did it and got 2 images relating to my real name but not showing an actual image of me, phew!

6 images for my name, but not me, thank goodness! That doctor who's over the first 3 pages of the name is there though!

I took that little snippet of advice from Camerata, one image.... and it's me.

Amazing how long it takes some companies to update their website after the IT Director leaves .... 2.5 years in this case and counting. I'll look again in another few years (bloody awful photo too... best not to point it out, as they may decide to change the company logo, 300 meetings and one decade later, I'll still be there :o )

LOL, Holy crap I am everywhere, at least my online name. Jeeze, maybe I should slow down. :o

12 results for my pictuers, and 8 of them are actually me. All from the same local newspaper...Elfi seems to love me! :D

/edit: NEVER spell Elfi with an "e" at the end... :o

Did you click on the image and look at the whole page? Google Images gives precedence to text above rather than below an image, so you often get the situation where a caption below the image it describes results in an incorrect hit on the next image below it. This is the single biggest problem with the system.

Starting with my first and last name (actual) got 227,000 hits. Adding my middle initial or even my middle name still got lots of hits, and I never found the real me, so it's nice to be so common. We gave one of our daughters a very unusual name, and she was there. The movie star name of my last kid wouldn't have helped, so I didn't bother. My ex-wife now has the same name as a celebrity....one of the hits for my name was followed by "PB." But it wasn't me!

Googled my name with middle initial, and it comes up with an expat sex pervert who's spent the last 4-5 years in a Thai jail for child molestation, with another umpteen years to go. At least 10 web pages refer to this identical namesake. Great!

I think I'll start carrying my passport every where with me now, just so they don't think I'm an escaped convict.

So happy you brought up this idea! :o

I get the same thing when I search my name... 12,000,000 hits, and most of them are about a pervert / paedophile whose name is the same as mine, except the first and middle names are transposed. Fortunately he is not in Thailand and is more than 30 years older than me, so I'm not worried about any confusion in identity.

A fair number of hits relate to a fictional character in a well known series of paperback books.

Searching for my name followed by Thailand did bring some hits on the first page that were indeed related to me... photo credits for some pictures that were used on a friend's website!

Thanks for the tip! I did as you suggested and thankfully no image of me! They were both semi-government vents that I facilitated, so I got a mention in the text. Isn't the net wonderful!

Thanks to my latest stalker :o , he just showed me my full name got 8 hits. All about my work.

The Scampster? :D

Nah, that one never stalked me. :o:D

right, done my real name this time;

the first two hits are my listing at a school I used to go to and recently signed up to their website.

the third is a story i posted online years ago...

the next lot are unknown websites that are genealogical listings of my family tree, done by unknown parties.

there are, thankfully, no pics under my real name.

Results 1 - 10 of about 915,000 for tuky. (0.13 seconds)

im apparently a country and western singer in the states.

could have been a more funky genre in my opinion.......

Taoism: shit happens

Buddhism: if shit happens, it isn't really shit

Islam: if shit happens, it is the will of Allah

Catholicism: if shit happens, you deserve it

Judaism: why does this shit always happen to us?

Atheism: I don't believe this shit
