I have 'luk khrueng' children. They have dual nationality. Come my death how would they be able to renew their British passports in Thailand being as the new passport has to be paid for using a debit/credit card, which they do not have.

The card used to pay for the passport does not have to belong to the applicant.

You will have to ensure that there is a responsible adult, who does have a useable card that will be willing to pay on their behalf.

A responsible adult with a useable card might, in their case, only exist in the form of an agency like Key Visa, in practice - who would, however, charge them 5,000 THB for the "privilege" (as things stand at present).

But, looking on the bright side, the 5,000 THB would, of course, also cover the costs of 'em 2 enforced route marches to Bangkok (assuming that they live out in the sticks), which they would no longer need to make in person!????
