Rotterdam Stabbing Rampage Knifeman shouted "Allahu Akbar"
Something must be done to keep out the extremist super freaks. Their religion may work for them in Saudi, Kuwait, Yemen, Sudan or Somalia. That same ultra conservative fanatislcism, is not wanted, needed, nor desirable in Western nations. Only moderates need apply should be the policy. And there should be a standard of willingness to assimilate, and the burden should be on the family to prove the burden is met. I believe immigration policy should be reformed to the point where it should be staged, and all Muslim families should show a willingness to assimilate. I also believe that families with Muslim daughters who are teenagers can start by proving that they have participated in a mandatory 2 piece bikini contest, with no face covering, by the age of 16, and for teenage boys they must show a burden of proof that they're not affiliated with any of the local imams, or madrasas. Are we serious about keeping our nation's safe from extremists, or not? -

Harris-Walz Campaign Opts for Media Silence as Election Nears
History tends to repeat. In 2019, Harris started her campaign for the Democratic nomination with a huge media push and lots of good press. As time went on, and she actually got media exposure, her campaign fell apart. Obviously they are tyring to avoid a repeat. The problem is that she made her unpopular positions rather well known during that campaign. Gun confiscation, 4th amendment violation, banning private health insurance, banning fracking, etc. And now she usualy has unnamed campaign factotums try to roll back her previous policies. As a campaign strategy it has a chance to work, given the generally obsequeous media landscape she has the good fortune to inhabit. But as a moral issue, it is inexcusable. -

Former C.I.A. Officer Sentenced to 30 Years for Sexual Assault and Drugging Women
His victims had the benefit of being unable to know what he was doing to them. With any luck his fellow inmates will not afford him the same privilege. If things get too tough he can always follow Jeffrey epsteins example -

Revisiting History: The Unlikely Campaign to Vilify Winston Churchill
Whatever the accuracy of the casualty figures are for Rotterdam, the gist of your post is misleading nonsense. You don't explain why the mission was meant to be aborted and what that technical problem was. The mission was meant to be aborted because the Dutch had agreed to negotiate a surrender. But because of a glitch in communications not all the bombers were notified in time. Only some continued on. They didn't just bomb a butter factory. A butter factory? Really? They destroyed the entire old city of Rotterdam. And, of course, if the Dutch hadn't agreed to negotiate a surrender, the entire fleet of bombers dedicated to the task would have flown making the destruction much worse. In addition, the Germans threatened to do the same to Utrecht that they had done to Rotterdam if the Dutch didn't surrender. Here's a translation from the German Wikipedia entry: "Between 800 and 900 Rotterdam citizens lost their lives. 24,978 homes, 24 churches, 2,320 shops, 775 warehouses and 62 schools were destroyed. An area of 2.6 square kilometers was razed to the ground within a few minutes. In addition to the medieval center, the eastern suburb of Kralingen was most affected.[5][6] The city then surrendered. When, as a result of this attack, "the city of Utrecht was threatened with the same fate if its commander did not surrender immediately," the Dutch forces under General Henri Winkelman surrendered." https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bombardierung_von_Rotterdam_1940 Looks like the kind of bombing that the Germans had practiced on Guernica. And the reason that Britain resorted to area bombing was that it failed at precision bombing. "In 1942 Bomber Command received a new aircraft – the Avro Lancaster – and a new leader – Air Chief Marshal Sir Arthur Harris. Accepting that precision bombing was proving impossible, the War Cabinet sanctioned 'area bombing' – the targeting of whole cities to destroy both factories and their workers. It was judged necessary to defeat an enemy that seemed on the brink of victory. Harris believed it could win the war and gained much public support when he sent 1,000 bombers against Cologne." https://duckduckgo.com/?sites=ihr.org&q=german+bombing+of+rotterdam&ia=web -

Woman Falls from Building Near Robinson Mall Chantaburi
Picture from responders. At approximately 05:00 on September 21, local authorities responded to an incident where a woman fell from a building near the Robinson Mall in Chantaburi Mall. Officers from the Muang Chantaburi Police Station, along with a rescue team from Phra Pokklao Hospital and volunteers from the Sawang Katanyu Foundation, were dispatched to the scene. The young woman was found to have fallen onto the spiked metal fenced railings below and was hanging by one leg in great pain. None of the metal spikes had pieced her leg, but it was severely pinned between the railings, from the impact of the fall. She had suffered cuts and bruises and a possible broken leg. Rescue workers were worried about the effects of possible crush syndrome, so had to hold and support her while medical staff stabilised her as she was still stuck on the fence. Rescuers then had to spread and cut through the steel fence to safely bring the injured woman down for further medical treatment, before she was then transported to Phra Pokklao Hospital. Further details about the woman's condition or the cause of the fall have not been disclosed as the investigation continues. -- 2024-09-21 -

A high tea ?
What I've been trying to figure out, is how you can travel so much on a salary just mopping floors. You've been to Thailand , if I remember right, at least three times this year, along with the Philippines at least once. This, along with all of your seemingly weekly doctor visits leaves little time to work and travel so many times. Others treat rich people as royalty for three reasons. They either are getting paid or they are brown nosers hoping for a gain, or they're in a group that actually thinks these celebs are worth more than they are, which isn't true. Saying you're a connoisseur without knowing what wines you have tried means little. I have had hundreds of very expensive, excellent wines from great vintages from all over the world, and I've never been rich but just in the right place at the right time or bought them knowing they would improve over time. Actually I've been with other friends, who were just regular workers like myself, and after smoking a doobie, enjoyed a sharp Emmenthal with a 1976 Berkasteler Doktor Beerenauslese , had Chinese food with a 1953 Chateau Margaux at the local Chinese restaurant in urban New Jersey, or was driving with my best friend Al in his Volkswagen Beetle, drinking a Late harvest Californian Riesling, smoking hash and going fishing in the New Jersey northwest. None of us were academics but just friends enjoying each others company. -
