Most are narcissists.  Many do it for the attention and special treatment they get.  There are so few opportunities in Thailand they give this a shot.  Sitting in Pizza hut near big C in Pattaya, they tend to have ladyboys as waiters/waitresses.  So what's to chat about?  Sports?  How is the surgery and drug hormone therapy going?  Not a lady so nothing to flirt with.   You can see the other staff just tolerating her/him/it.  Nothing against personal choices.  Best wishes on one's endeavors.  But as far as being beautiful or attractive?  Sorry, not my cup of tea.
