Tea Drinkers....

Featured Replies

Rimping is selling Taylors "Yorkshire" and "Yorkshire Gold" teas right now.

Teabag only, but even the teabag version is better than anything else on offer in either Rimping or Tops.

Tesco finest is also quite good..but they seem to be running down/out of stock

(Sold at selected Tesco/Lotus stores)

Where is this Rimping you speak of?

There are Rimping stores in the Nim City Plaza, Meechok Plaza, Maya Mall, on the east side of the Ping near the Iron Bridge, and in Prom mall.  I'd make the assumption that if one store carries it, they all will.

Wow, have you ever shopped at several Rim Pings?  It's a false assumption that if one carries something that they all do.  For example, the Maya Mall store is just a sad version of a Rim Ping, IMO.  For me, the highlight of going to Immigration at Prom was being able to shop at Rim Ping @Prom afterwards.  Much bigger and better stocked that the little Rim Ping at Maya Mall in my 'hood.

Also check the prices for identical items on the same day at the various Rim Ping stores!

I was once told this is because they vary the prices depending on the overheads of each store, rather than averaging the prices across all the stores.

I prefer the regular Yorkshire tea.  The Gold just doesn't suit my palate.

I do prefer the looseleaf versions (of all teas) but I'll take what I can get.

That's why they call it an assumption, and not a fact.

I don't much care if one store is cheaper than another. I don't shop by price, and I'm not about to go running all over town to save 11 baht... or even 100 baht. My time is worth more to me than that.
