so what is strange OP ?  kids robbing you ?  robbing on walking street ?  Cambodians ?

Your story lacks merit and appears whinning at best.

if you read my reply a few posts before your one, you will see that i was suspicious that the girl and the children were in it together but no one has put that idea forward but why didn't the kids run off when they got the money (they had time to leave but just sat there on the kerb?

You can call it whining if you like i just found the whole thing a bit strange

Is there really anything strange about encountering pickpockets near Walking Street? I dont think so.

The head is sacred in Thai culture. The OP was doing the wrong thing by rubbing their heads.

Yeah, he should have given them a foot massage instead, then all would have been fine.
